1.) What is HDMI?
HDMI is an audio/video interface which carries an uncompressed digital video and audio signal from a source, such as a DVD player, to a display, such as a plasma TV.

2.) What kind of resolutions does HDMI support?
HDMI can support all HDTV resolutions (720p, 1080i, 1080p,1440p+) and standard definition TV.

3.) What audio does HDMI support?
Currently, HDMI supports up to 8 channels of 24-bit audio, including Dolby TRUE-HD and DTS Master digital audio.

4.) Are your cables compatible with 1080p?
All of our cables will display 1080p. In fact all of our cables will display resolutions higher than 1080p, such as 1440p & 1600p.

5.) What is HDMI 1.4?
HDMI 1.4 is the latest specification by HDMI. It enables 3D, Ethernet, Audio return channel and 4K x 2K reolution support. All of our cables at this time are High Speed with Ethernet.

6.) Are all of the new HDMI versions backward compatible with previous versions?
Yes, all HDMI versions are fully backward compatible with all previous versions.

7.) What cable is best for 3D?
The best cable for 3D is High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet, ALL of our HDMI cables support 3D.

8.) What if I have a cable but need a different connector to fit my device?
You will need to use a HDMI adapter, this is often a HDMI-to-DVI Adapter.We are able to provide these or provide you with a HDMI To DVI Cable.

9.) What is AWG?
AWG stands for “American Wire Gauge.” It is the thickness of the wire inside the cable. The lower number AWG indicates thicker wiring and thicker overall cable. Thicker cables are recommended for longer cable runs because they offer less resistance along the signal path. All our of cables are 30AWG which is a high standard cable.

10.) Why are your cables so cheap? Are they as good as the name brand cables the retail stores are trying to get me to buy?
Yes, the cables we sell are just as high in quality and reliability as those typically found in retail stores. We purchase items directly from the manufacturer and are a mail order company so are aim to pass on these cost savings to our customers. We stand by our objective where we believe quality cables should be affordable.

11.) Can I run my HDMI Cable underneath carpets and between walls?
Yes you can, we would recommend you purchase our flat HDMI Cables as these provide greater flexibility for running underneath carpets and between walls. These also tend to be of greater length.
